Yellows Game: No One's Space

Post by yellow (theRaffy) »

Welcome back Commander,
today I'd like to show you what I'm doing, when I'm not playing OpenRA. So, this post will not be much related to OpenRA. But I hope you all will appreciate it nevertheless.

I'm currently developing an awesome game called No One's Space (NOS).
Here's the domain. www.noonesspace.com Please check it out!

The community of NOS is still growing and needs every possible support to grow.
It's rly not easy so self marked you Indie game today^^.
So, please press the like buttons at the social media pages and share or retweet it. Thx!

In some days I will release the new Trailer. Actually I'm planing to go Greenlight
(distribution at Steam) at the end of January. So, it would be epic , if you also could give me an upvote there. I will remind you again when the time has come.

That's all for now. Thanks a lot!

Love and Kisses yellow // Submarine or TheRaffy

Looks pretty nice, is it an action game or does it have strategy elements?

Yes, there are some strategy elements.
For example each race has their own special ability (Speed Booster, Plasma-Eruption, Warp and EMP).
Because they all have a cool down it's important when you're triggering them.
You can easily escape rockets with the Booster or use it for ramming enemies into asteroids (reduced DMG for you).
The Plasma-Eruption will block off incoming rockets and send out some nasty homing missiles.
Warp is also good for escaping rockets and bombs, but you also can use it as an offensive run-up attack with a final jump through your enemy. Additionally warping creates pull- and push-forces, that causes other objects to collide.
EMP distracts rocket, paralyses ships, blow up mines and can be used to play billiard with smaller asteroids.

Secondary weapons like bombs, rockets, support fighter and turrets are limited in numbers. For example you better should fire a rocket after your enemy triggered a Plasma-Eruption or EMP.

There's a squad system where you can give simple orders (formation, protect me, attack my target, spread out)

It's written in old school freepascal-compiler + lazarus-ide using SDL2, OpenGl, OpenAL, OGG.
