jagged and "looks like if it's kinda displaced" display on Lubuntu (latest version)
Sounds like wrong display settings are used, but still... how could I tweak the settings without even aware where are my mouse cursor at?
(working fine in Windows 7 though - in this laptop, in my lubuntu laptop, the latest release have problem)

Are you using an NVIDIA card?

nope, standard intel 4000 with VRAM 1 GB

It may be GPU drivers issue. Try to update them.
