After I have played a game or replayed a game a new game starts. Its on a map that I installed, but didnt play (because its 5 vs 1 player...). Its a divide map.

So when I abort mission I hear "battle control initialized" and the game starts without any players. I abort mission and the game starts again. Usually after 2x I do get into the main menu, but sometimes I have to abort 3x.

Any ideas, aside from reinstalling?

fixed it by deleting the map that came up everytime.

It even came up when I loaded openra. Right after the black screen it started an empty game.

Just a weird anomaly, I suppose.

The behaviour of the main menu (the combat in the background as well as the main menu) are controlled by what is known as a "shellmap". It looks like you installed a bogus custom shellmap, which effectively corrupts the main menu behaviour.
