In previous versions, using the Atom Bomb would do a lot of damage; anything in the immediate target area would be destroyed entirely, and surrounding structures/units would take heavy damage (with infantry being affected at extreme ranges).
Now it's nothing like this, and now feels like the GDI Ion Cannon -- but a slow, impractical Ion Cannon that takes 9 minutes to prepare, several seconds to reach the target, and does near-enough dick-all damage to anything outside of the impact cell.
Curiously enough there's no mention of this in the changelog (at least not that I could see), so I'm assuming it's an error rather than a deliberate change?
