OpenRA very very low after some minutes

Hi,

After some minutes playing OpenRA, the game becomes very very slow. In other words, unplayable.

Some details: Poland Raid v3 with 2 bots, 1 in Turtle AI and 1 in Normal AI.

Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB
Software OS X 10.9.4 (13E28)
Mono 3.4.0

That's happened to me too. I'm not sure why. Maybe somebody is deliberately grinding the game to a halt????

You are using bots which will very quickly grind the game down. The pathfinder is going through the roof because it isn't very well optimized.

I suggest playing against real players if your computer can't handle the pathfinding, or only against one computer player.

http://bolgh.eng.br/openra-ss-02.png Shows the problem. The bridges are destroyed and the AI created lot's of land vehicles. They can't find a path to your base, but they are not giving up. I also noted this on the exact same map. https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/issues/5754
