Currently we do not support any platforms other than Windows/Mac OSX/Linux.

I recently discovered that Xamarin offers free mobile license to open source software so we may eventually support Android/iOS but this requires us to write a separate renderer which is a big undertaking.

There are no definite plans one way or another.
Things can always change.

https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/pull/5248 will make it easier to do a port, because we can access mobile devices via OpenGL ES and SDL2 also has been ported to Android. However, there are no such concrete plans. I also doubt the regular smartphone or tablet has enough computing power and there is no such thing as a touch optimized UI. Also we will never be able to get into an app store with Open Source, foreign IP and EA still selling their games there, too.

I also stumpled upon http://resources.xamarin.com/open-sourc ... butor.html via reddit. Looks like they had to do something, because the offers at https://store.xamarin.com/ are too limited or too expensive for our cause. However the hardware is still a cost factor. I don't own any iOS/Android devices and can't therefore do any tests and development.
