Players:
You have read the rules in the signup thread, and hopefully everybody now understands the format we are trying.
Please keep in mind that this a purely experimental format: I therefore reserve the right to declare the tournament a TOTAL COCKUP at any time.
I would like all players to log in to the #OpenRA channel on the Freenode network (linked below) in order to organize matches and report game results.

We also have four dedicated tournament lobbies open (2 RA and 2 TD/C&C) (thanks hamb!), plus my own host.
You will need to join the channel and ask your team captain or a tournament official for the password (the servers are password protected to keep them free of general traffic).
You are welcome to challenge other tournament players to battles on the public servers, or even your own!

Thanks to Scott and Nukem for being our captains!
There are a few ways you can organize matches:
- I have a thread open for players to lay down challenges, or request games
http://www.sleipnirstuff.com/forum/view ... 426#286426 - The #OpenRA Channel will be your best chance. Everyone should be there, and you will get the best and most up to date invitations when YOU are ready to game.
- My lobby will be held Open (1 RA and 1 TD/C&C), with ALL slots closed. This lobby will be called "Ripley`s Moderated". You are welcome to join here and wait in-game for players to join and offer to battle.
I will also be reporting any information about tournament results as best I can.
You are welcome to join and stay as long as you wish. - Forum PM system, Who doesn't love an invitation to war sitting in their inbox?
Standard starting rules MUST be used.
This varies for RA and TD, but the most important rules are 5000 starting credits, crates off, and MCV only start (RA) / MCV and light units (TD/C&C).
ALL players in the battle MUST be in the tournament (no public) and MUST be in their ASSIGNED teams.
Watching streams being cast is prohibited while ingame. VERY STRICTLY.
Results
The battle is not over / does not count UNTIL the game declares a winner.
All ingame tactics are valid.
If the game crashes or comes to a stop, please do not "call it a win" and report it.
All Replays MUST be uploaded and linked WITH the result of the match AND who played / what map. Either to your team captain, myself, OR in the thread linked below
http://www.sleipnirstuff.com/forum/view ... 426#286426
Scoring
Any information about scores will need to come to me before being posted, either through the team captains / tournament officials or directly from players.
I will be updating the scores in the order that i receive them, disregarding spammy results and identical matchups.
They will be updated regularly in the lobby, on the forum, and in the #OpenRA channel.
Spectating
There will be MANY ways to catch some of the action cast from the tournament.
Our mate Sybert will be streaming as many matches as he can manage, which will make for some high quality viewing. There will be experienced Co-casters and guest appearences by some of the Developers that have made this game so brilliant

A recent addition to the OpenRA community is a very talented caster Rider_, who has volunteered to spend some time casting some of the replays that the players post.
He will be teaming up with his own set of co-hosts, so be sure to check out his YouTube channel. His Replays are not to be missed!

Kinch will also be Streaming some live casting, with his mate Unit158 beside him in the booth, be sure to check it out.

SoScared will have replays that will RIP YOUR FACE OFF.
Follow the link, if you are man enough!

We prefer you watch the replay or stream instead of spectating in-game in order to ensure optimum performance.
Disclaimer
I accept full responsibility for this tournament not working out.
I hope all players will actively work towards the end goal of this tournament being a success. This includes the EXTREME use of patience, tolerance and forgiveness.
If some results you have posted do not make it through, there will be a reason for this, feel free to inquire through the methods listed above.
Special thanks to Pchote for maintaining this forum and making everything look 100%! Without it this tournament would be a bitch to organize, full of endless chaos

Good Luck! Have fun
