Red Alert - Real life 3D Models

Post by Merko »

Hey.

So, i've got a 3D printer for a while now, and a few days ago, i decided that i wanted to print out a small RA Base that i can have on my desk.

Have only printed out about 7 buildings for now;
Power Plant, Radar Dome, Iron Cortain, Construction Yard, Barracks, Flamethrower and corner wall.

Heres what i got so far:

The buildings is pretty small, for comparison (Top corner = my mouse); - Sorry bad quality!

As you can see, they are just pure white now, so i need to give them some RA colors as soon as i get the proper tools for it.

The material its created with is ABS plastic. Which is the same type as LEGO is made of, so it's pretty strong.

The total cost of plastic used on these models is about: $1.68 dollars - Pretty cheap. :)

Any thougts or inputs ? :)

These are really cool. Even the detailing on the ConYard door is there!
