So I have an idea for better AI development.
Why not to create a AI tournaments, where everyone can participate by submitting own AI-bot and then these bots will fight and best one wins. Lets say we have this kind of tournament once per week, then every week we would have better AI-bots as participators try to make their AI-logic better to win next round. :)

@zypres: nothing. the engine already supports multiple bot implementations.

Other than technical things, what more can we do?
How do we get them to do this? Why OpenRA compared to other games?
How can we make it more fun making AI/bots?

haha, could have price money.. First one to beat Buddha 5 times in a row gets(free pizza)??

In that case you could make 2vs2 tournament games with generic nicknames and no chat allowed. The participants than have to guess afterwards which players were bots.
