Hi All,

I'm new to this red alert game and have a few questions:

1. When I move units, how can I get them to automatically engage? When I move my units around by left clicking an area, I notice that they walk there without engaging at all.

2. When the tank catches on fire how come it's dead despite having some life left in the life bar?

3. Is there any way I can pause the game when I'm playing with an computer?

4. Are there other maps I can play on?

Hi newgamer123!

1. Before you send your units a move order, press 'A' on your keyboard. You'll notice the cursor changes to an attack cursor - this is the Attack Move command. Now click anywhere on the map and your units will engage any enemies on route to their destination

2. These are tank husks - the left behinds of destroyed tanks. They only appear when tanks are fully destroyed.

3. Nope

4. Try the latest playtest - go to the downloads page and under unstable playtests download version 20110727. This has about 15 more maps than the latest stable release.

I will add that most active players use the latest playtest, and arrange games on IRC. Check out the IRC link on openra's main page
