Does anyone know how to fix this so I can run the game in a window?

Put in a windowed resolution, then restart the game. It should work then.

I tried a window resolution lower than my monitor but it keeps popping up in full screen

Try modifying your settings.yaml file

In Windows, settings.yaml is located @ "you\documents\openra\"

You can play windowed with this, for example, under your Graphics section:

Code: Select all

Graphics&#58;
	Mode&#58; Windowed
	FullscreenSize&#58; 1024,768

Note: Don't copy-paste this, as it replaces tabs with spaces. You want to tab indent the Mode and FullscreenSize nodes

If you're running the latest playtest, the easiest fix is to switch to the C&C mod and use the mode selector there. The settings in RA do not work correctly, and will be fixed in the next playtest.
