I love playing skirmishes against the computer but the AI in Open-RA barely sends soldiers and one or two tanks to my base but once they get there they don't attack me.

And yes I have checked the diplomacy section and we are both listed as enemies.

Is there a way to change the difficulty of the AI or can you install a harder AI if so, how?

Not yet.

The AI is still being built. As shipped currently, it's pretty braindead.
