Allies have may fun tools, they aren’t “boring”. The problem is that the standard units (aka med tank, rocket, rifle, hind) are too good. Everything else pales in comparison. Maybe you can find the absolute value for the scroll speed in the settings.yaml (open with text editor). Then you could try to set it to values beyond maximum.

Yes, freeware may be opensource.
And opensource may be freeware.
One doesn’t include or exclude the other.
SC1 is free-to-play (freeware), but certainly not open source.

This seems very promising! A good deal more variety in map embellishments.

Can’t tell much from the pictures though, they have a very bad resolution. Can you upload a better shot?
