Re: Most awkward / funny moments

Probably when an enemy decided to try and transport a second MCV to another island (Docklands Extended) but didn't get around to unloading the transport. Just left a Cruiser on standby to shell the shit out of it, wasting his time and credits. - Teammates who decided to attack each other after bicke...

Did you even think these ideas through before you posted them?

+1 for this.

Would be a nice option to have, and all without really breaking any actual gameplay balance regardless of setting.

He has a point though. Divides are by far the least interesting map designs, with little to no obstacles on the terrain. Just flat, crap and featureless, with bundles of resources for both sides.

Re: Navy Discussion

Maybe a tesla themed boat for soviets Oh come on, not even the C&C Soviets are suitable for using something that ridiculous. Just give them a Demolition Ship or something. Seriously though, and as far as Naval abilities for each side goes, I'd say leave it as it is (minor tweaks notwithstanding). R...

A hijacker costs $500. An APC costs $850. An APC full of hijackers costs $2850. A harvester costs $1100. If I was your opponent, I would be happy that you wasted $2850 (even if you successfully hijacked a harvester). Except it only takes one or two to successfully steal an unguarded Ore Truck, whic...

If it's true (and I highly doubt that), you usually don't have time to do this micromanagement. Just try it yourself. A hijacker chases a harvester and he reaches it when it's unloading ore at an ore refinery. When he comes close, the harvester rides him down. If your opponent has many harvesters a...

I don't think you ever tried to capture a harvester with a hijacker. It's nearly impossible, because harvesters move faster and they usually never idle. Hijacker simply cannot reach them. What? Yes it can, it just requires micromanagement and interception while the Ore Truck is moving towards or ar...

Yep, you can insert mini-mod YAML flies into the .oramap zip. For the life of me I can't remember the specifics (I haven't done so since I added neutral TD units to a map some three or so years ago), but it's pretty simple stuff to get to grips with.

Definitely a +1 for this. RA on the PlayStation had a 'repeat last build' control which -- when the last build was a structure -- would select the finished building for placement without having to fool around with the sidebar. While something like this is hardly a vital feature, it is pretty conveni...

As for MAD tanks, you could make their shockwave act like an EMP ala tib sun. Enemy ground and naval vehicles in a large radius would be disabled for a few seconds, air units would fall out of the sky, subs would surface, phase transports would uncloak, chrono tanks would reset and powered defences...
