I personally love them even if they're slow. I feel like I'm unstoppable when I roll 8 heavy through someones base but I don't have the same confidence with 15 medium tanks. They kill buildings and base defenses quite nicely also. I guess use them for what theyre for and keep them close to the blob....

It doesn't work like that he got 1.3k ahead from engagements over the entire game not just every single engagement. Through careful micro and effective engagements Lorrydriver ended the match being 1.3k richer so if all the eco disappeared he could afford another two pillboxes before no more money. ...

There was full knowledge that there would be no bounties making it like 6x as noticeable. If we made maps that had no bounty without anyway to the player knowing I doubt anyone would find out. I played TD a little and I never noticed the lack of kill bounty cause I forgot it existed

You have to keep in mind that there is one tech centre in about 50 1v1 games so longbows aren't a common sight compared to flak trucks.
