Also, negative zoom is only available in spectator view, so that's not true either. I meant the pixel doubling on/off, it's a kind of zoom. I'm pretty sure you don't have to spectate to do that and it usually fits a big chunk of the map on screen if not the whole thing. Mammoth Tanks are rarely bui...

I think GPS fits into the Allies vs Soviet balance nicely. Allies have less options early game and need something like this. Soviet isn't exactly gimped late game with Mammoth Tanks and Iron Curtain either. To further consider is that the Allied Tech Center requires double amount of power and has 40...

What about just being the tank and have the back half of it materialize from nothing? Fade into visibility towards the front, with some sparks at the back or something. Fade from nothing to a blueprint to a tank? It might bring thoughts both to RTS and creation, with less focus on creation (people t...

I watched yesterday's stream and the idea of having to build War Factory before you can build Radar Dome seems a little restrictive. It opens up to more playstyles when you can rush Radar Dome in order to get early aircraft or in order to get early Destroyers from the Shipyard (remember those guys? ...

The cog http://i.imgur.com/hyvOws7.png looks fancy but it's wide, meaning it'd be cut off in a square icon on the desktop or be small and have empty space below and over it. It's also a cog, which is used everywhere so it's not so original. Trying to read http://i.imgur.com/PDQtwYn.png or http://i.i...

This is probably the best way to go! :D It will take some time to reach a decision but we have time. Personally I think the tank logo would be great without the health bar and the mouse cursor. If possible I'd like to see a single-barrelled version of the tank as well. I don't know if it would be be...

After doing a lot of thinking I've changed my mind. I now think Grenadier is fine on Soviet and it's also fine that they explode and deal damage after all. At first glance it looks like Soviet has more to offer on the offence with their Grenadier / Flamethrower units but come late game the Allied Ta...

Sorry for asking but what was wrong with the business of the new logo? Wasn't the point of posting about it to get feedback and feedback was given, right? :? The general opinion seems to be people like the logo, they just want it without the health bar and without the mouse cursor. To bring down the...

It should be technically possible but you'd have to write a lot of extra code since Unity has their own way to render stuff, capture inputs and deliver sound. The easiest way, which isn't easy, is probably to make "in-between classes" that communicate with the OpenRA code and presents the game in su...

a problem we have is ... if its a light-tank blocking the warf ... even if the "finished" vehicle inside can shoot and eventually destroy the light-tank ... it will end up with a "husk" that can only get destroyed fast by "force-firing" on the husk ... which isnt possible with the finished vehicle ...

Good point. Destroyer ships on Allies are mobile anti-air but they won't be feasible on most maps.MustaphaTR wrote: ↑I think AA Guns are fine. Soviets have Flaks too. Allies has no mobile AA unit except Rocket Soldiers, which soviets also do. So it is normal that they have better stationary AA Defences.

Something subliminal that you can quickly get used to like the cash "tick" sound could for example slightly increase in "pitch" the more and more money you accumulate. Sounds like a neat trick. Should be configurable in the settings how far away from your max credits you need to be (percentage wise...
