Upload the map to https://resource.openra.net/ to allow others to download it.

Re: OpenRA and Apple M1
1. M1 hardware has been available for a couple of months now, and I haven't seen any reports of problems. This probably means it is working fine under Rosetta. 2. .NET5 doesn't support universal binaries, but this appears to be planned for .NET6 later in 2021. 3. We'll do what we can, but can't plan...

Re: Dune 2000 SP missions
#9287 is the tracking issue for the D2k campaign. As you say, there hasn't been much progress on this front in the last year or so, I think some of those later missions might depend on the still missing starport logic?

Re: MAC No maps folder
Are you running the .app applications from the dmg downloaded from https://www.openra.net/download/ ? What version of macOS are you running?

Re: MAC No maps folder
Open a finder window and then press cmd+shift+g to open the "go to folder" prompt. Paste ~/Library/Application Support/OpenRA/maps into the text field and press "go" to open it. Each mod and version has its own folder.

Re: game is discolored
Issues like this are usually caused by overriding your GPU's texture filtering settings using a GPU configuration utility. You'll need to remove these before the game can render properly.

Re: Loading a saved game takes 10 minutes
The savegame simulation already does that behind the scenes, so there would be no benefit even if the game UI allowed it.

Re: How do I load custom maps on hosted server
OpenRA doesn't support sharing custom maps directly from servers, instead https://resource.openra.net acts as a central location that both clients and dedicated servers will query. If you upload your maps there they will be available on any dedicated servers.

The archived news posts for each new release give a reasonable overview of the biggest developments - see https://www.openra.net/news/ and click through on each of the "Release X" links.

Re: OpenRA Crashes on Startup
OpenRA requires your GPU to support OpenGL 2.1 or greater, and Intel/Microsoft do not support this for your system. It should work if you install Linux (which does provide basic driver support), but performance is probably not going to be very good.

Re: RA+ Mod thread
You don't need to manipulate anything - just download the macOS version and then run the .app. OpenRA mods are standalone, with their own installer/.app/AppImage that does not modify a base install.
