pretty much! nerfing the hinds makes it harder to win with a single tactic. :)

I don't agree with nerfing flame throwers. If we remove a viable early game strat when people whine you're setting a deadly precedent. What should happen is buffing the allied pillbox. We could move grenadiers to the allies faction so they also get a strong early game anti buildings infantry to compensate. I like this. Is there like a fund for this game? I'm not opposed to throwing in a few bucks from time to time so that the dev guys can have the finest caffeinated products at their disposal.

An easy fix for this would be to require the radar dome + flame tower prior to building the unit.

Every douche of a player uses the early flamethrower rush. It sucks the enjoyment out of the game. Why bother to plan out attacks when you can just throw a bunch of flamethrowers at the opposing team and wipe them out?

If I see APCs rolling into my base during the first 3 minutes of a game, I just let them destroy the entire base, congratulate them for their original thinking, explain that nobody wants to play a 3-minute game, and then go find another game with better players.

(2) Team mate decides to do a stream of nuke trucks, and repeatedly gets you blown up in the process.

Demo Trucks are a great way to unwind after a long day at work. :D
