You should be able to select that map in your client (download it from the resource site and put it into your maps folder, see https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/wiki/Mapping#location ).

a) is it possible to have multiple locations as an owner of a map? It's quite dull to have the actors spawned 4 times. Sorry, I don't exactly get what you mean here... You want "movies1.mix" (allied disk iirc)
and "movies2.mix" (soviet disk iirc).

Just put those files from the CDs into your Content/ra/ folder.

I just opened the .shp with OS Ship Builder again and re-saved it as SHP(TS).

That's weird... I had the same error with my .shp files. Changing them to SHP(TS) solved the crash though.

You would need to create a camera actor at "??? what to do here ???".
This can be also done through map.yaml / the ingame map editor.
Just place cameras owned by each player you want to have sight there.
(Then you wouldn't need a lua script.)

The maps seem to have issues with removed traits. (We replaced some traits.)
You should be able to fix them by just using the --upgrade-map command of the Utility.

That should work, but you'll probably need to download the assets again (with the ingame dialogue), as there are no assets in ~^Content/cnce for obvious reasons.
