MCV is so SLOW

What's the point in going forward anymore, the play seems more static and becomes a whoever gets there first contest. And if an expansion near me gets taken I can't counter with my own sneaky base as if it gets spotted I can't pull it out in time. So MCV placements will be a step by step thing which...

Sorry couldn't make it until now. But I can't find the stream! You should make a playlist for them just so we can look back at them :)

We're closing in on 100 shoutcasts, folks! Thanks for recommending the AMHOL versus .1 match on Portent, I finally got around to casting it, and it's definitely been an entertaining 30 minutes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kToR_OkfNS4 ,showcasing how important naval control can be even if your o...

FWIW I have no intention of putting naval maps in the upcoming season. The most you could expect is a map like DCF where navy can have some limited late game use. Why the instant shutdown? There's still time ahead of the next RAGL season to test a few of the maps out. Navy as it currently stands is...

Some maps have naval as an extra. Like: its nice to dominate the sea, but the game is not lost if you don't own the seas. And it's a heavy investment that you can't put into other stuff. That's exactly the issue with making navy worth pursuing yet not overarchingly dominating. Some of my maps I hav...

The naval aspect of the game needs to be rebalanced before we can add naval maps. Its just such a lop sided advantaged to allies at this point. If the naval aspect gets fixed, yes, naval maps would be great to add.. But adding it in a competitive situation isn't the right thing to do. We won't know...

New naval map, and off the bat we're at a dynamic game with myself vs .1 Subsequent revision has revised the top left mine count reducing it from 2 gems + 4 ore mines to 2 gems + 1 ore mine. (2 were out of reach for the most part anyway). Either way it sees some naval action and tier 3. https://www....

We need some decent naval maps in this pool. It's about time naval gets some attention and this will be a good way of testing it competitively. Having made 8 different maps and spectated many games on each, I've found general patterns with some of these maps, and my top maps in order are as follows:...

Best of luck with whatever you do! I think your streams really brought the community together and hopefully that'll continue on with the recent transfers to other streamers. :)

Great idea and sounds like a lot of fun. Once upon a time maps were played unexplored.

people could just abuse that by having a friend rename himself everytime and let him play like shit, play on a server that doesnt show off the IP (not even that, a lot of players just have dynamic IP's) you could also just easily get a spectator in to spec-snipe on a different machine or via friend...

Loving the work you've done here in collating information and trying to science it.

Would be awesome if a tool (Is there one if I'm not mistaken?) was developed to collect statistics on a particular map to see how it plays out with a large volume of games.
