Congrats to the winners!

As only suggestion I'd love a map contest with just a single category, for example 3vs3, with the goal of putting the best in the official map pool.

This way we can actively contribute to the game itself.

They were in crates for a short while, like maybe 1 or 2 release cycles. They were actually pretty powerful in the beginning, because you could take out a powerplant and put the enemy in low power. In don't see any reason against including them again in crates in late game, might be too powerful at ...

well the missiles "are" guided in the openra-rules ... and theres a strong similarity to todays missile-infrared guidance You still need to see the target before you can guide a missile anywhere. Also todays infrared guided RPGs are not fired over walls, but rather with direct vision of the target.

If we apply this logic, also rocket soldiers should not be able to shoot over walls.

Walls are pretty strong as they are, I don't think we need to make them any stronger by blocking more weapon types.

I think MIGs need much more ammo. One of the reasons TD air is so much fun to play with, is the in-air reloading. Last time I build MIGs in a game (admittedly months ago), I noticed how quickly MIGs run out of ammo. Using MIGs is mostly keeping them alive and reloading them, and the occasional snipe...

There used to be a way to generate this with the OpenRA utility, using --generate-dps-table. Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work, so I guess it was changed/ removed at some point?

I'm all for changing the map-pool once in a while.

That being said, i think "Pitfight" makes for horrible games, "Northwest Passage" is fugly and boring and already rarely played last season, and I miss a close quarters low ore map, like "Keep of the Grass".

I have to say the new unit does look nice. This would close this discussion once and for all. The name Iroquois doesn't tell me anything though, I'd stick to Huey, or Black Hawk or Cobra just for staying on the iconic side of things. This would open the way for a third soviet faction that utilizes t...

What I don't like is that it looks like the Longbow. For me it's hard to tell them apart.

Could you make it a 2 bladed helicopter maybe?

I think a lot of your changes are really good, and worth considering for OpenRA balance itself. I can't say I'm a big fan of some of the newly added units, for example the architect. The may be interesting, but kinda throw the balance overboard. Not bad per se, but it makes it impossible toevaluate ...

Didn't the sniper get removed for not being original artwork? If the choice was made not to include custom artwork by default, does it make sense to push for custom artwork on a helicopter, where original artwork is already available? Not that I'm against making new artwork, just seems like it could...

I don't have much time to play, however, I managed to schedule all my RAGL matches in the past two seasons. Sometimes it took a few weeks, and some effort, but it can work. I also think playing with the nerfed Allied base defence is a must, either on the new release or on a set of modefied maps. I t...

After playing a few TD games, probs to all the mapmakers. TD has so many good 2vs2, 3vs3 and even 8+ player maps. Replacing some of the current maps in the mappool seems like a very good idea.
