While your idea sounds good on paper , I feel like this system would be both too complex for Ripley to maintain and too easy to cheat (e.g. farming easier opponents). Also, it would not necessarily reward the best players but rather those who play frequently to grind ladder points. With that said , ...

So I just figured out what's going on: If you check the thread right after this one, you'll find someone wondering about a modified "Pressure " map with a custom ruleset. I skimmed through them and basically, they allow for a bunch of really stupid cheats. Spawning 50 mammooths, invisible flamethrow...

Haha yea, that was a good game. Chris is definitely the strongest opponent I've faced so far. The game was still hard to call, my biggest assets were the spies in his base 8) I guess you're talking about Ripley's upcoming tourney? Yea, let's organize a team once Ripley spills the beans about timefra...

Really nice idea! Unfortunately, the AI is inherently flawed and incredibly easy to overcome. Here's the link to my replays, I completed your challenge both versus 6 Turte AIs and 6 Rush AIs. On an interesting sidenote, the game is significantly harder to win both as and versus Allies. Due to the "z...

I tried Trench, quite liked it because disincentivises basecrawling and promotes vehicle-based gameplay!
Anything that goes against the meta is great in my book :)

Thank you for sharing, raymundo! Truth be told, I was happy about the win, but I wanted to showcase it mostly because you were one of the most experienced players trying out the map so far :) I had a match versus V-Christian on the map yesterday that lasted for 70 minutes and only ended because the ...

Sorry for the mixup, guys! It occurs to me that the replay doesn't work due to an extremely minor bugfix that I made inbetween playing the games versus Raymundo and posting them here - I was not aware that this would cause replay incompatibility. Will try to contact Raymundo as he should still have ...

Thanks for the feedback, and a shoutout to Xanax and jayman for teaching me the ways of the screencap! Newwe, I understand your concerns, but what I have concluded from the way games have played out on this map so far is that if you want to move up your MCV as topside, you forfeit control over the o...

I'm up for casting, but not until I'm done with my finals (which is going to be around July 15th).

Do you plan to do livestreams or replay casts? In case of the former I'll have to find a working setup beforehand.
Just send me a message if you need a hand!

New maps: Inter Armas (2 players) and Dies Irae (2 players)

Hey hey people! Five here, and seeing as I am currently in the thick of my finals, naturally I had to find a distraction good enough to keep me from studying efficiently - and lo and behold, the new playtest finally contains a good map editor! So I went ahead and tried to make some 1v1 maps. Keep in...

Being quite a competitive person myself, I'd love to participate. Could you give us a small preview on the cornerstones of the tourney, such as ruleset / mappool / time schedule? Thanks for the effort you put into this!

Seeing as the advent of the new factions release is effectively going to render older replays obsolete, I'd like to share a few good ones before it's too late to make use of them. I tried to pick the more exciting games that had me play from behind or outnumbered. The last one was played on the new ...
