I don't think JOo was directly insulting anyone (feel free to post actual evidence to the contrary), but merely stating that constantly screwing with the fundamental balance just to appease whoever shows up next and barks loudest is a bad way to carry a project forward. I could just as easily say bu...

iirc isn't the model for light tanks actually bigger in CnC Tib Dawn??? No, only the turret is bigger (same goes for the Medium Tank). There are SHP/MIX files out there from the original game which uses the correct-sized infantry, however. The ugly, poorly-upscaled versions were only introduced bec...

The main issue with basewalking in OpenRA was when allies would all build off each other, resulting in absurd and unstoppable snaking into a target. Having separate build menus for Main/Defence structures only adds to the problem. This further resulted in an absolute curbstomping for whichever poor ...

Haven't had a chance yet, sorry to say it'll be a LAN thing though. I'll post here once things are done; may end up 4v4AI at this rate however.umairazfar wrote: ↑that would be awesome! can you tell me what time? I may try to come as an observer if that is possible

Looks fine to me. As long as the colours for the minerals in the back don't use those palette index numbers which are remapped to player colours (and it doesn't seem to be the case), I see no reason why this shouldn't at least be an optional alternative to the original 'what is all this black shit I...

Agree that it's something of minor issue currently when hosting bigger games; a 'tournament game' option or whatever in the host's Lobby options to enable strict control over player colours (perhaps limiting to the available colours in RA95 + C&C Gold?) would be nice. I commonly host comp-stomps and...

Your memory serves you well regarding RA95's units, but things have been shuffled around in OpenRA purely for the sake of balancing things and cutting down on clutter (which is why only Allies get helicopter units now, with the Soviets getting the APC in lieu of the Chinook). Soviet airpower in RA95...
