RA "snow" map tileset for CNC

So apparently in CNC95 someone has already has done a mod and converted the snow theater from RA into one for CNC! Can we apply it to OpenRA? That would be really sweet. Ultimately would we be able to make an automatic map converter that translates maps between RA <--> CNC, using this art work that ...

I am wondering, do you know of a way to convert these graphics to CNC / RA color palettes? I know a lot of them are bigger than 24x24, but a lot of them aren't, and could be resized/recentered.


And are there any more data files from Dune2K with art in them?

Yes.
For some reason the cheat which turns off fog of war is incorrectly labelled "turn off shroud" instead.

If there is a mod, we simply MUST get rid of the archaic concept of building "tiles" before placing a structure. I'm personally shocked and appalled that they didn't get rid of this archaic "feature" when they re-made Dune 2000. It is really pointless--it's just an annoying, endless chore for the us...

Hey, all. I think we should get rid of shroud for CNC skirmishes/multiplayer. I know that some people like it in RA for the gap generator, etc. but it doesn't really have any use in CNC.
