You can always put a handycap on AI. It will build slower

Generally games desync when one of the players has a modified client (modified game files). In other cases desyncs seldom happen and are hard to diagnose

That seems weird. You definitelly have enough memory, openra uses about a 1 GB, and most of that is in VRAM
For reference for me tiberium dawn launches in about 2 seconds, red alert can take about 8 seconds. And note its taking so long only because I have so many maps
