New revision(2017-08-05) is already out: http://resource.openra.net/maps/22395/ Had to place a forth tree on the "safe" tiberium field, and just re-calibrate the economic distribution of the map after I realised how out of whack the extra trees made it. Basically, players who left their spawn locati...

I had someone point this out to me during one of my map tests, that right now bridges are so weak they take basically nothing to destroy; even small arms fire can destroy them like it's nothing, like a small squad of 10 minigunners will down a bridge in 3 seconds flat. This was a map where I didn't ...

Hello boys, have I got a double update for you! Tyranny and Despair has been given a whole host of small quality of life improvements, to make playing on it THAT bit more bearable :dead:. I won't waste time here, you can read up the full changelog on the resource center. Downloadlink: http://resourc...

I hope to do something with Tyranny soon as I was partially inspired by the latest playtest, but for now here is a fresh revision(2017-07-25) of Apocalypse Now : Downloadlink: http://resource.openra.net/maps/22288/ Further steps have been made on the art of the beach terrain to eliminate high concen...

For the most part I missed out on the first generation c&c games; only experiencing them through awkward and incomplete pirated versions and the PS1 games. Being that I wasn't conscious of online multiplayer as a thing until mid-2002 either I certainly missed out on their online scenes as well. So f...

New revisions(2017-05-15) for Apocalypse Now and Pond Skirmish 2 are out now, to address semi-serious issues. Downloadlink: http://resource.openra.net/maps/21274/ Downloadlink: http://resource.openra.net/maps/21275/ With Apocalypse I mainly moved the central oil derricks back one "beach crossing" to...

One of the things I really love about your map and what makes it a bit unique is the lack of a tree on the safe tib. Not many maps incorporate this and it kind of forces the player to be thinking ahead rather than sticking to a build. A hope to see more maps with nuances like this I'll keep this in...

Having had time to reflect after the recent mapmaking discussions, and reflecting on my own experience from playing others' maps, I realise my first map needs a major overhaul for it to be workable. I took all my design cues for it from the still chaff heavy map pool at the time, before people settl...

A valiant effort Mortecha. A reimagination of the Hind into something like the Huey is something I'd been hoping for myself. I wish you the best of luck in getting this passed into the release build. :) If I may suggest something, if you want to truly distinguish it from the Longbow, and how I would...

Aww thanks dude! Hearing such enthusiastic words almost makes me forget the ridiculous amount of time I wasted going over this map, forgetting that I have an important deadline for a different project. :dead:

First map revision is out, losers: http://resource.openra.net/maps/15660/ Avoiding any fundamental changes for now. I'm just subtly scaling back much of the choke around the map, since that was a chief complaint, while further tightening other areas and erasing the excess. Also gave the map a better...

Ehh... I would miss the dreaded charge-up sound of the obelisk if it were to be removed entirely, as it has always been its defining characteristic that inspired terror in every player who stepped too close to one. Maybe only half the charge-up time to mitigate some of the targeting headaches, and g...

Saturday im going to host the map on my server to spread it about :D Awesome dude. Now if only my connection could stop puttering, I would actually be able to participate. :dead: Looks a nice map. Little bit chokey but then again, arty isnt used much so this might encourage some artillery style pla...
