Zoom would be wonderfull but its not so easy to do code wise It would also change the game in quite a deep way and fundamental way ....great care has to be taken NOTE: Getting a bigger monitor is nearly always a good idea for multiplayer gameing of any kind! Some people have big enough monitors that...

I think its a valid tactic allbeit a bit cheesy...bit like blocking a factory with a live tank It is only OP early game if u have only one refinery, otherwise u just send your oretruk to your second refinery or even an allied refinery...i did that in several games when the enemy was using 'refinery...

ref That said, Anti-Air capable Migs would only make sense, im my view, if a similar air-unit would be available to the allied faction as well. umAllied Longbow anyone ! Which is one in game balancing reason ( apart from its natural role as an interceptor) that Mig's should have air to air capabili...

My thoughts
My thoughts
Consider buildable areas....too many straggler trees and misc rocks just makes life a pain
When designing a map 'play the map' in your head.
Whats the difference beteen 'great maps' and maps that just dont get played ?
101 tiny details
Bad design is 'death by a 1000 cuts'

Even small code changes are hard, agreed. but balancing what is allready in existance is pretty easy and does not take a huge amount of time..we are talking a few minutes work to alter the stats of a single unit or building, ie changing, price, speed, ownership, weapon, rate of fire etc ..it realy i...

Redalet Mig with air to air capability
Redalet Mig with air to air capability I, like many other players, were disapointed that this wasnt enabled in the original game. You could enable it by tweaking the rules.ini file Migs are currently underused, there key role in wartime is an air superiority fighter / interceptor. Its a 2 minute tw...

this is the take away line Realism should be brought to the table where ever it is 'practical to do so' . Realism reduces 'brain strain' it allows prior knowledge of the real world to be put to good use in virtual worlds. Realism and natural instincts are bedfellows, aka 'True to life' Making a goo...

Great Designers 1:07 interesting vid 10 Heuristics ( Teslacoils included ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdH8Kuku9tA Microsoft paint has a simple grid box. Something like that would work well. ref A fixed dropdown color palette is a pain in the ass to be set up Its not that difficult at all, in fact its standard practice in 90% of computer games ! Im not the worlds greatest coder but i could knock one up in a day ! Microsoft paint has a simple grid box. Something like that would work wel...
