The next release will include several changes to how the lobby options work, and a bounty checkbox is planned as part of that. It will default to being enabled. IMO this is great news. It's good to have options and it could be fun to have it on in certain situations (FFA games for example) but i pe...

lol it kind of makes sense for the transport but i think it would be a bit absurd to see huge naval vessels traversing such shallow waterDoomsday wrote: ↑I thought all naval units are able to move over mudbridge.

Re: I didn't know this was a thing
So I was just testing out a potential new map, and during the game I sent a naval transport to go and make its way around an island. To my curiousity it started moving in the wrong direction where I was sure the transport would not be able to pass... and then THIS HAPPENED: http://i146.photobucket....

Haha yes it's satisfying (if it's your dog) and hilarious to watch but it looks absurd.. the dog just like slides around as they all morph into corpses..

Dogs might be a little underused. You mostly only see them at the start of the game. They don't work on the battlefield (not for me anyway), but they can be great defence sometimes, although using them is very hit and miss and you need the enemy troops to be targeted on something else. They are sti...

I'm not sure there really is that much of an issue with the current naval balance.. If Allies are investing that much into Navy and you can't keep up, then just relocate your base away from the shore and beat them on the ground. Or put up some static defense on the shorelines.. I was the first to br...

Red Alert was the breakout multiplayer game in the C&C series - I believe that when Tiberian Dawn (then just called Command & Conquer) was first released in 1995, there was only support for LAN multiplayer. Online mutliplayer was included in the 'Gold' release in 1997, whereas RA included it right ...

Why so few players on TD & especially D2k??
Hi all, just wondering why it is that TD & especially D2k seem to always have no one playing. There's obviously a dedicated crew of TD players I've noticed from time to time but even still, the majority of the time the TD & D2k servers are completely emptyyyy. Don't get me wrong.. I love RA a lot. O...

There have always been some in-game downloading problems yes. But I'm not just talking about that-- when you go to the resources site the pages are messed up there also, which seems to be a recent thing. Oh good call, maybe that's somehow related to the seemingly increasing issue within the game cl...

Re: Map Install Issue
Some of the maps don't seem to be downloading. Pictures (map design) aren't showing on the resources site for the maps in question (I think), and if you click on the map you don't get taken to the page for the map, but rather directed elsewhere. Reason for this? This has always happened from time t...

SirCake's flak trap and other changes IRL Flak Trap Nice! the amphibious light tanks might be a little too adventurous for my taste but all the other ideas are interesting. The Flak sub is a little bulkier than I was envisioning. How does its speed compare to the other subs? Is it also able to hit ...

@AoA: I can't think of many multi-role units in the ra original. Mammoth maybe, destroyers, longbows, and rocket soldiers. Some units like tesla coil or flame thrower had secondary roles like anti-infantry, which they were not too good at. Anyway, I think defined roles for units are very good becau...
