Return fire stationary AI units
Is there a way I can specify certain units on a skirmish map to not move and only return fire? If I assign them to a team and the AI fills that slot, often they simply charge them at the start of the game. Failing that, is there a way I can specify all the enemy units not to move and simply return f...

I like a few of the changes proposed here (flame tower and tech center). I've actually been working on a balance project on and off myself over the last year which I will post soon. Just wanted to say the timing was coincidental in case you think it's somehow related to this thread. And good effort ...

does it take advantage of every airfield available to the player? Yes all of them. As far as I can tell if air units do not have a target when refilling, once reloaded they take off again and go to the building waypoint allowing other air units the chance to reload. By proxy, it also seems to reduc...

No I was really talking about detailed build orders as in where to place what building where and when. Ore patches and obstacles were moved hence the way some players remember opening their build with was skewed. The overall playstyle and build order is excactly the same. Fair. Still, it seems peop...

Certainly the new map structure would break certain set of detailed build orders (and fond memories) and I can symphathize with the resentment of the new version replacing the old with the exact same name I didn't realise the 'new map' broke build orders? Regardless, would you mind making a new iss...

Remove the self-destruct, and make it a continuous-fire seismic tank that gradually damages all surrounding vehicles / structures while it is deployed (no 33% damage limit, but much slower to deal damage). I think it would be interesting as a somewhat continuous damage AoE unit. I would love to see...

That test I didn't realise I had explicitly disagreed with how you are suggesting to test? :/ EDIT: You know what, I understand the sentiment. I was dismissive of the idea before giving it a proper chance which is being stupidly obstinate. anjew, why don't you make a map with the changes and if you...
