I hope evgeniy will resume his work on this mod.

Without radically modifying the current design, we can add new buttons into the menu : https://img4.hostingpics.net/pics/370320websiteUntitled1.png Yes, on this mockup, there are much more buttons than before but there have been several people (me included) who complained about half-hidden links (fo...

Regarding SEO: Yep, we really need to work on SEO for www.openra.net. I realise that OpenRA is an engine, but if people struggle to find the mods/games that use the engine then they will struggle to find the engine itself. I searched Google for a few obvious strings: 'command and conquer', 'tiberia...

I just discovered really nice civilian vehicles and ships made by MadHQ (scroll down to see the ships):

The good part is his permission and FAQ pages on his website.
EDIT: I just found out that you already knew about them. link

Hi old_malcolm. I think developers will be happy to meet you on IRC. As jaymanxyz said, http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=openra is the best way to join our IRC channel. Of course, you can also use the IRC client of your choice (pidgin, chazilla, thunderbird...) server : chat.freenode.net:6697 c...

The Gamingforum Marketingplan There are many many gamingforums on the internet. Some in foreign languages, some on English and also there are big forums with a seperate gamingsection. We want to gather a list of those forums. I have searched for the Dutch gamingforums, but its substantially harder ...

I think OpenRA suffers from the fact that it is free - hear me out. When somebody buys a game, they put an investment into it, and chances are they will play it unless it /really/ sucks. In this case, OpenRA is a free game, the biggest investment is a couple of minutes and the bandwidth to download...

I know I'm a newbie, but I saw this thread and felt I had to join and respond. The reason that I got me and friends into OpenRA was because of how EASY it was to install on Linux, in comparison to say warcraft 2. If asset downloading is dropped, it will just make installs harder, I have no idea why...
