In general, the handling of movement that isn't in one explicit direction (ie any movement that involves turning during the move aka moving across 2 or more tiles) is kind of poor.

The AIs aren't in any way related to difficulty, but rather unit preferences and attack force sizes.

The two other names are just random, similar sounding names.

The turret shp for the APC isn't very vanilla, so either way it's not the biggest deal. Anyway, most units in OpenRA currently do double barrel weapons by either: A) simply having two weapons (at half damage) with each their own offsets, or B) having two offsets in the weapon, and leaving the burst ...

There's currently no release of the official TS mod, as it's still only in development.

You'll have to make your own build off of github if you want to see how far it's come.

vidious and gladius are just shittily named bots that were appended from an ancient mod of mine. currently vidious uses smaller squads, and many more devastators and sonic tanks, while gladius uses larger squads and much more infantry. omnious is the original (and baseline) bot, and is named after a...

No, you can't chrono IC'ed units in vanilla. You also cannot IC buildings and base defenses in vanilla either. Fairly certain both those things being possible in OpenRA is intentional, to add additional counterplay to each ability. The Thief already has limited uses. Being a very soft counter to IC ...

Development only goes so fast, as the developers need FREE TIME FROM WORK AND LIFE to work in. TibSun IS in the works, and a closed alpha release is currently handed out to select people. Alternatively, if you have the proper software you can build your own dev version with the latest changes, TibSu...

Only two trees in particular could transform into a Blossom tree, 03 and 13 iirc.

Furthermore, hovering the mouse over the tree would show the name 'Blossom Tree' long before it actually became one, so the effect is at least either significantly delayed, or pre-placed entirely.

I'd praise OpenRA even more if they added the DOS/Demo iteration of the Commando's "You got it!" line. The one that's in the sounds.mix of Gold/every online download of the game is rather oddly cut. Hell, make that his "Time to rock and roll" line too. They cut most sounds down a bit for Gold, but o...

Well the Technology Center was used in TibDawn and RA mainly in missions as insert-important-building-here that needed to be secured or destroyed.

It didn't exactly do much beyond that in the original games either.

Well obviously, the biggest issue with the MCV Chrono tactic is that you're allowing them to tech that far: Proc-Weap-Dome-Tek-Chrono Proc-Weap-Fix-MCV,MCV,MCV You should already be overrunning their bases at the Dome/Fix point. And one player massing units SHOULD NOT be able to hold back three, if ...

1. D2K already has an overabundance of build tabs though. 2. The AI enemies don't actually support 'difficulty levels' yet. The different bots just prioritize units differently, and make squads of other sizes. 3. While I don't doubt that an upgrade menu will be made in the future, the OpenRA team ju...

It does indeed sound like the D2K data in your documents folder isn't up to date, or corrupted.
