I decided to go with hard-coding the y and X offsets for the turrets on units which need it, it was 3 hours of work for RA1 and I think it will be about 1.5 hours for C&C95.

could you give me the name of a few source code files to look at to get a grasp of the implementation? My math is pretty poor and I don't have experience with 3D math at all..

Turrets on vessels drawing

How does OpenRA draw the turrets on vessels like the Cruiser? How does it adjust the turret drawing for the Cruisers rotation? The turrets themselves are loose files and not part of the graphics (unlike turrets on tanks).

The Sam Site fire smoke has parts of the C&C95 Sam Site in it, Westwood crudely photoshopped the smoke for the RA95 Sam Site out of the C&C95 Same Site.

I think it's in the file called "samfire.shp".

Q in RA1 allows you to select an enemy tank to target then tell your units to move to another cell while the tanks keep shooting at the unit that was being targeted. Is that supported?

In RA95 if you have units selected and drag with the mouse somewhere the units will go to where you selected and then will try to select the area you dragged over, causing you to deselect the units you selected.

Seems like everything has been converted but for tiles that C&C95 doesn't have but RA95 does he just used the temperate files. I was asking Harrison because he seems to be able to make his own tiles for those that are missing while staying true to the winter theater.
