Newer builds use a version of Tao.FreeType.dll that works on 64-bit. If you're using Mono you'll need to use 'gacutil -i' on the DLL, it should be under the thirdparty/Tao folder. I'm not sure what the process is under Windows.

TA/RA2 support isn't planned. Katzsmile got TS SHPs working in-game on his own branch, but I haven't seen him in a whole. You should try contacting him.

You can request features on the bugtracker at: https://redmine.open-ra.chote.net/projects/openra .

I might not be able to beat you but I would have harassed you like nuts at least.
They didn't move their MCV, so their economy was very slow.

EDIT: Fixed the audio desync and aspect ratio issues in the first video.

OpenRA videos

Post them here. :V http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkEbwZEEPCU OpenRA build 'release-20101013'. I moved my MCV a bit at the start of the game before I started recording. The game ends with a crash. Early offensive expansion and optimal build order are showcased, albeit slightly modified to accommodat...

It would be cool if you'd add extra sides that would function as sub-factions of the Allies and Soviets, a bit like Zero Hour's "Generals."

Hold spacebar and click on the map to move around if the middle mouse button doesn't work/exist.

You should mix infantry with your forces. My own tests show that Soviets are actually underpowered.

Even playing in a 800x600 window the radar is quite useless, especially if you "team" your buildings so you can jump to them with alt+[1-0] keyboard shortcut. The gameplay in general would improve if there were bigger maps with more choke points.

Hmm, that's a nice way to support multiple sides. Wouldn't it be possible to split taskforces and miscellaneous settings up into seperate YAML files? I could imagine that one file can get pretty big.

Will it support splitting the AI mind into multiple files? How are you gonna handle different sides and difficulty settings?

This looks like a great start.
