Convert them with http://www.winamp.com/plugin/xcc-aud-writer/24475
Unzip your .oramap
add this to your map.yaml:

Code: Select all

		PlayMusicOnMapLoad:
			Music: name
			Loop: true
You might need to add it to the music.yaml.

I Uploaded the stuff and im excited on your feedback! Please note, that the Soundtracks i posted are relatively old (2008), the new ones created will sound better. Tell me your Opinion, and can someone tell me how to make this offical?

The links are gone and we can't add MP3 support because that costs a lot of money for licensing.

DUNE II OST with sitational track choosing

What I really would like to see was the situational-dynamic OST of DUNE 2 in the DUNE2000 mod. The midi files are somewhere on the www. The OST of the game was one of the features from DUNE 2 I remember the most! Amazing.. and seldom found even nowadays.

Just imagine this: your enemy surprise you with a large scale attack on your base, the ambient music fades away and then this hits the speakers: ENEMY APPROACHING!

And to that the deep bass sounds of the siege tank guns! Boom. Boom. Oh my shai-hulud!

That's defiantly possible, how well the music blends together is a whole different story
