Welcome to the voting topic for the Play of the Season 3!

Season 4 has begun and everyone should be either playing their games or have contacted the RAGL admins by e-mail to postpone their games. If you haven't yet... take action!
Also for season 4 I need you guys to nominate the best games of the season. Let me know if you saw an awesome game here.

Season 3 has been a season where the competitive scene has grown a lot. This shows in the number of nominated plays for the play of the season. I wanted to include them all so it's a long list and the video is split in two. Check out both videos and afterwards post a reply to this thread. You may list 3 of your favourite plays, in random order (contrary to what I've said in the vid where I've asked to sort them in hierarchical order - just name 3!) Players are not allowed to vote on their own plays and if I notice suspicious votingactivity then I will blame Russian hackers and pick the winners myself. After 1 week the voting ends and I'll add up the votes and declare the winner. The winner gets $20 transferred using PayPal. If I am unable to to transfer the prize, or it's refused, then the money is used to Support OpenRA.

Really hard choices. Watched them through again but managed to eliminate some favs down to a few.


6: Whilst the harv hijack in the other game was really funny, this one i felt was better. It's in your face wtf moment for the opponent and ended up becoming a fun game.

7: Pure gold. Miss click or not, hilarious how it worked out.

9: Fiveaces for the funny and creative wall in. Well done to Lorry for surviving and overcoming it though.


Well done to the other players who had tight games but managed to come out on top also. Wasn't an easy 3 choices.

Why am I not surprised that Sircakealot has been nominated four times?

Casting my vote for: #1 - Gatekeeper - What a day to be an engineer!

He made a game on Desert Rats exciting and cast-worthy, which is a feat in itself. Also, he had a great engi cap in the second game vs Barf as well.

Edit: Misread that I'm supposed to vote for three.

Not only was this a cheese I've never seen, it had huge implications in the path of the hidden master and gave us a great series between Happy and Juicebox.

The best is obviously Doomsdays cheese and should win, no bias
