KotH sounds like a fun format!

I wondered how maps are chosen and why sign ip early if that means you will play early (and likely lose somewhere along the road)?

Will add $15 to the prizepool if more than 15 people play.

Map pool TBT tomorrow! The more games you win the more money you make, that is the reason for signing up early, but we may change to a challenge format!

Sounds like fun! Unfortunately it is unlikely I'll have time to join, but if I do I'll check the stream.

I can't reliably be there to play (tho I really want to, it's been a long while!) but I'll be around to witness and to HYPE!

Btw you might wanna display the signups in the OP to encourage even more signups.

You might want to consider v2.1 (I just uploaded it): http://resource.openra.net/maps/18568/

Changes:

1. Replaced chain link with walls in the middle (oil derrick cover)
2. Added barrels to that area. The oil derricks can be captured from 2 spots now

Last minute suggestion for rule change:

1) the player who wins the game stays on (=the KotH for as long as he wins)
2) losers can get back in line and wait for another chance
3) people who join during the tournament can also get in line to play
4) the player who has won most games during the tournament wins

100% Seconded

We don't have enough players in RA to do a true king of the hill format where the King can be permanently eliminated.
