yes, I think thats a good idea. more terrain/actor expansion - to use them in editors, etc

@Harisson: we have better tools available -- and you want to convert to TMP (.tem/.sno/etc) for terrain, too.

So, can you relase these tools, please ? :)
I have still the same problem...

Added new template to temperat.yaml
New actor to civilian.yaml
New type to defaults.yaml
...and I get from editor this :

Either your template is set up wrong in the tileset, or your TMP is bogus. I suspect the latter at this point. What did you use to make it?

I added to temperant.yaml
Template@500:
Id: 500
Image: sh57
Size: 1,2
Tiles:
0: Rock
1: Rock

I use XCC Mixer to convert png to shp and then rename sh57.shp to sh57.tem.

I still have the same problem :? Maybe it's bad fileformat...

You dont want SHP format; terrain is TMP(RA)

Finaly, I have this.... but it's complicate.
1.With XCC mixer convert image to shp
2.Download ramix513. In ramix open CMD and write:
shp2pcx.exe/p:TEMPERAT.pal MYFILE.shp
3.Then write:
pcx2rmt MYFILE.pcx
4.Rename myfile.RMT to myfile.TEM
5.Copy myfile.tem to OpenRa/mods/ra/bits :)

Maybe exist easier way to do this, but I don't know

Wooow, it's f*cking great  .
how have you done it?
Can I use this ?

Those urban tiles are excellent. Could you perhaps flesh them out into a full set of pieces like the cliffs? We would need a couple of variants on each of the straight pieces, and possibly some angled bits too.

You wouldn't just need additional cliff tiles of that set. It would probably look weird if those tiles would just switch over to green grass. So you'd also need new ground textures, maybe more urban styled roads, fitting houses for such an area, transitions from urban to rural areas etc...

I really like the tiles Harrison made as well. If I understand correctly I can just dl them and include them into the editor (even if you say its a little complicated to do so)? If so I'll try that, would love to put that crashed Yak into one of my maps, not to mention that hill-becomes-a-water-cliff-including-beach-transition tile is just what I wanted to have when doing my first map (this calls for an overhaul).

Thanks Kashi.
Yes, you can download them and then extract in OpenRa/Mods/Ra.
Try this test version :) . (still it's test version and I know all bugs/mistakes -its for preview)
