I apologize in advance for the foul (French)
I have a simple suggestion to the subject of modding:
and you it possible to integrate the extension ".vxl" and ".hva"?
Why?: and this well in order to ease the modding.
(obviously this is a suggestion)

It's not a voxel renderer -- but rendering the voxels out as images and then making SHPs of them will work.
