OpenRa Tiberium Dawn dosen't detect steam version

Post by Nir4s »

Hi,

I recently bought Command & Conquer The Ultimate Collection on steam so I decided to start playing the series from 1st. Once I completed 1st mission I found OG version a little too inaccessible so looked for patch of some sort to fix it I found OpenRa. While trying to add additional content
(music, movies etc.) in OpenRa Tiberium Dawn I found that it doesn't want to detect my steam version for digital install.

OpenRa is installed seperatly from C&C 1 steam version and I tried reinstalling steam version a couple times.

Any solution ?

The detection for the ultimate collection will be added next release. See https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/pull/21355

RA1 and C&C1 are freeware so it shouldn't be too difficult to get the music and videos from other sources. f.e. EA's Origin or see https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/wiki/Game-Content

Oh, I see

I already managed to obtain additional content through the freeware version (as you suggested).

Thanks for the replay regardless
