Just wondering if it's possible to increase the scroll speed. I don't play on a huge screen and I know there's a few others on lap tops etc. Would it be possible to:
a. Increase the max scroll speed significantly, and/or
b. Allow further zoom out (which exists while spectating and map making).

Would be great... and wouldn't affect anyone seriously because you can adjust that with the slider.

As a person who scouts with mouse mid-button, don't really care about sidescreen scrolling as I always have it disabled (also it messes with dual-screen windowed play sometimes). Though sometimes I have a hard time scrolling all the way from one map side to another when it's a big map, zooming out will definitely help too.

There is a scroll speed slider in settings, i play with the preset scrollspeed that seems to be the best setting to me.

Printer points out, that the maximum speed possible to set on that slider is sometimes not enough. Technically it is easy to increase the span several times, as the setting precision lost that way seems negligible.

Maybe you can find the absolute value for the scroll speed in the settings.yaml (open with text editor). Then you could try to set it to values beyond maximum.

Actually yes, you can modify MinimumValue and MaximumValue for SCROLLSPEED_SLIDER in mods/common/chrome/settings.yaml. Should not even lead to any desyncs as it's purely local.

Well if it dosent mess with the default setting... and somebody feels the need for it... why not?

I would support this if it made keyboard scrolling faster too (im using WASD ).
