A new year and a fresh start, its time to advance the competitive environment with more immediate, accessible and exciting dynamics! Below I have included a number of graphics illustrating the brand new Open League!

Open League will have many different roles and attributes which are worth getting to know to understand how to press an advantage and see how you can get ahead.

Some updates on rules:


NO MACROS ALLOWED -

USE THE SAME ALIAS - if you want your points to add up and your titles and roles to be displayed its better to have a single alias.

BE RESPECTFUL TO YOUR FELLOW COMRADES

Evaluation of the first event of Open League:

Speed Freak

Many games were had over a span of 3 hours, with many different players trying their best to take down the favourite Barf, only to be stopped by Orb once but managed to come back and get an 11 streak victory.

In second place Orb managed to hold onto a 4 win streak for a short while before barfs stomping, unfortunately he had to leave due to work.


N/a came 3rd with one win and being the first one to win a match of the night received the First blood bonus.


This first event is a 250 SERIES event meaning; the top prize is 250 Open League points followed by half and half again, no points are awarded to those who do not win a game.


Points are tallied up and released at the end of the month in The Chrono along with rankings.

Roles are updated immediately.

Barf earned enough points to play in the The Trials: 1000 SERIES at the end of the month.

Prize pool donations to the Championship series go below

Added 5EU to prize pool. Haven't played a lot due to holidays and work but maybe I can get a few matches in next Saturday, as this Saturday I'm doing an HVAC install and for me in CST it would be 11am-3pm.

Evaluation of the first 500 series event in Open League:

Weekend Warrior

12 Games were had over a three 3 hour period, with many different players trying their best to take down the favourite Amhol, failing to do so Orb tried to build some steam managing to come in second but ultimately distracted by his work. Amhol won top points and which is more than deserved for staying up way passed his bed time to put on a good show, and a particularly good game against Chewey
