I can't find any reference to this issue anywhere on the forum.
I play single player against AI's because I'm really bad at this game.
After each game I have to click "Add" from the drop-down menu which automatically fills all available slots.
I usually play less than this so I delete some. Then I have to setup colours, army and team one by one.
Is there a way that the last setup used can be stored so every game isn't preceded by this incredibly annoying introduction? Am I missing something really simple?
It wouldn't be the first time

Or, there is a way to learn quickly the game and enjoy it vs human players.

I am not young enough to put up with the music nor am I young enough to play quickly as I see they do human vs human. Not everyone is up to being destroyed all the time as it gets old fast.
The old game used to remember my "no crates / no super weapons" settings and my fav colour and the last map used among other things. Why have all these things changed?
We are in 2018.... the game setup was better in 1996 when I last played it.
Is there a file I can edit to make my defaults be game defaults?
