My map depository for showcasing and gaining feedback on my map building. I try to keep things symmetrical cell wise, but my goal is to create fun or competitive maps that offset mirror image layouts.


So let me know if you've tried any and all criticism is always welcome.

Sapphire
Simplistic map with $500 crate in middle as opposed to cappable neutral structure. Corners are a strong point for AA guns to deny bridge destroying. But requires playtests.

Snow Bound
Attempt at a small map. Small maps don't really "work" imo, but thought i'd try and push the possible workable size.

Fury Sands
Another small map, entered into 2018 map contest. Quite chokey, but has proven to offer good games with potential flanking abilities.

Unbound (previously Elongation)
An old idea of using a long map. Hard to get to work, but this map is fun for an occasional game. Entered for 2018 map contest with surprisingly pleasing results.

Team Maps

Incitement
Team based map with early game play encouraged. Work slowly inwards to the fenced off gems for a classic team based arty/v2 and base push stand off.

Boiling Lakes
Huge team based map. High potential for lag. But suits tech, naval, blob and team play accordingly. Left vs right

Like the crate idea ^^

The sandbags gave me another idea : what about a map with lots of pre-placed ruin walls? One could expand and place structures strategically or complete the walls in various ways :)
Would like to see such a map ;)
