Manual Installation of Video Briefings

Post by SirCake » Wed Dec 06, 2017 1:50 pm

Hey :)
Just for fun I decided to buy the original german version of RA, which, back in the day, only my friend had in his basement.
Now my units reply with "Einsatzfahrzeug?", "BeSCHtätigt!", "In Ordnung!" and Tanya likes to say "Komm Blechbubi, tanz mal!" (~Come on tin tub, dance dance! dance!!).
I like the nostalgia xD

Now only the german mission videos are missing, I would like to install them. I know automatic installation doesn't work for foreign languages, but should be an easy process to do it manually?

I placed Movies1.mix in \Documents\Openra\Content\ra\movies already, but they are not detected.

God, I wonder how a Dutch version would sound like

"Komt voor de bakker!"
"Okidoki!"

You need to extract the content of the mix (the VQAs) to "\Documents\Openra\Content\ra\v2\movies". (And hope they are named English. ^^)
