ugly graphics

Post by vbhzoe »

I'm getting these ugly graphics in OpenRA on windows xp 64, with ATI Catalyst 10.6.
After reading similar threads on the forum, I tried putting atioglxx.dll from Catalyst 10.4 in the OpenRA folder, but it doesn't change anything (I did check with Process Explorer that the 10.4 DLL was indeed the version used by openra)

And of course my Windows display settings are set to 24-bit depth. Also, the problem occurs both in fullscreen and windowed mode.

I just installed OpenRA 20110207, and I'm getting the same 'ugly graphics' problem... is there any fix yet? D:

Looks like a bug in the ATI drivers. The only thing I can suggest is to try other driver versions, and hope that you find one that works and doesn't have the problems discussed in http://www.sleipnirstuff.com/forum/view ... 82&t=14850.

I solve problem a little ;)
this happened because of anisotropic filtering is turned ON in ATI catalyst center. when I turn it off, the screen is ok (on Ubuntu linux)
hope this bug can be done soon.
