Thanks Klaas ! That's really great With my very poor programming skills, I managed to take on, and get out some results from it. Tried out with the Masters Division of Season 1, here's what it gives : COUNTRIES : ('germany', 'england', 'france', 'russia', 'ukraine') Wins : 4, 16, 5, 17, 21 Losses : ...

For numbers one could look at the current RAGL masters league wins of random players, how often they win with soviets vs. allies. You could also look at the other leagues and see how often the players pick allies over soviets. The replay file should save this data, so maybe I'll write some script i...

It seems that there is/was a philosophy to make the allies the a strong defensive, weak offense faction versus the aggressive strong offence soviets I think it's kinda true. Soviets have the firepower, whether it's Russia or Ukraine. I'd also point out that Soviets are more mobile, and with good mi...

Holly molly ! Great match ! I though that late demo truck would have been the game-changer, since it killed most of your army, but you still managed to continue. The second one wasn't effective, that shows how much demo trucks are a hit-or-miss unit. I like to see Ukraine VS Ukraine match-ups ...

Does your idea come from defending against spies, where you'd need to dog-spam your base ? I think it would induce balance issues though. Dogs are already an infantry unit (very fragile indeed, but still if lucky can deal a lot of damage to enemy troops), so it would be double infantry production fo...

Never noticed that !
If Hinds have it, then Yaks probably should too.

"as allied player spys should disguise them if i' m not totally wrong."

Currently spies do nothing vs spies.

RAGL-S02-MINION-R03-HAN-FRE Game on Tourney Island. Tech VS expansion. Han goes for a tech rush, to rush a shockies blob. Fortunately repelled it, thanks to seeing it in time ahead, and by overproducing Hinds. Then locking down in his base, even from sea. Not my best game ever, but maybe worth looki...

^ all what blackened said

Allies can easily counter Russia, especially with Hinds

I think the only faction to have real difficulty to counter Teslas is Ukraine. If you know you're facing Russia, then yeah try to snipe Tech Center ASAP, and as often as possible.

No visual / physical change, I'd rather just nerf the stats.

Changing the visuals and the placement would have many undesired effects, IMO.

From what I see, they're still a very strong unit.

It's hard to stop them when they come raiding your base, especially if they're protected with AA. Against Russia, you absolutely need to stop them from getting to tech.

IMO, no need for a buff :)

@SMIFFGIG What I mean by "light" is a wheeled, non-tracked vehicle, therefore not considered as tanks. Light tank is considered as a tank in the engine, same for APC. They both have heavy armor and tracks, it makes sense physically that they can crush sandbags. Although I understand your point, but ...

@zinc : Oh ok I didn't understand it that way. Then yes I agree walls can be helpful in that case. @SMIFFGIG : I'm not quite sure about making sandbags non-crushable : it still is mainly anti-infantry and light vehicles. Otherwise they'd become OP early game, you could wall off your entire base, way...
