FlakTruck is good for counter arty IF they aren't protected by competent infantry groups.
I usually use Yaks to spot and blast artilleries from air, but yeah...

The range swap is needed because Allies close combat is weak, they need the range advantage. That's like saying; 'Allies are OP early game, but Soviets are OP late game. That's balanced'. If soviets have some advantage at some tier in the game, surely it would be more logical to buff the allied uni...

We could nerf the artillery attack to be effective against infantry and buildings (like it is right now) but chickenshite against armored vehicles (medium tanks, heavy tanks, flaks...). I also think that the delaying time of the arty should be increased a little bit more, so the arty gets the same ...

. The range swap is needed because Allies close combat is weak, they need the range advantage. And yes, what's the difference of V2 sniping buildings (for allies) because they currently could do that faster with their arty? I think instead of trying to change these two around they should be nerfed ...

I'd also like an option to disable them, just for fun. And an option to disable Nukes if that's possible. Honestly, it wouldn't feel like Red Alert if allies had the rocket, that's just not the classic way! But I'm majorly in favor of editing their stats. Basically, I'd like to see them with the sa...

Swap The Range AND Ownership of Artillery and V2?
Now, honestly, they are balanced as is now, and how to use them efficiently really make the mark of being different but balanced game. The problem is, they seem to be more or less counterintuitive compared to Real Life, where Rocket Artilleries are supposed to outrange gun type artillery. And yes, j...

We need more feedback about this :) Well, as a non-competitive OpenRA player (i.e. n00b), I can attest to the fact of many of my hijackers being run down by enemy harvesters :P Ah yes, they also need to be uncrushable too... just like Zero Hour hijackers (so no counterintuitive marching the tanks t...

If you like it or not, actually (at release 2014 10) the hijackers are the most useless unit in the game (sorry MAD tank, but you´re cool). Hijackers CAN do their job but their pathfinding is shite, can be squished and they are too slow for catching ore trucks. They need a speed buff... or atleast ...

Uh, if that teammate of yours bear the name "Hermann Goring", you should know that this was historically accurate tactics (abysmal performance though)BaronOfStuff wrote: ↑"I'm going to concentrate on making an air force."

in other hand, asking to turn off crates means your enemy will immediately expect a rushing attack  or do the rush themselves, or at the funniest peak, move their MCV to your starting point (to rush you), while you also do the same (to rush him), and for somewhat reasons, your MCV didn't meet ...

pay $7500 to do something that could be more throughly done by $5000 worth of demo trucks? yes, mad tanks do have their niche use since they're much more robust and didn't kill infantry so you can follow iron-curtained MAD tanks attack with a horde full of infantry to exploit the breakthrough. But t...
