Re: Some modest wishes/requests about Dune 2000.
Yeah, some window managers seem to intercept the Alt key, so you'll have to fix that on your end, see OpenRA/OpenRA#12205.

You can force move by holding down 'Alt' while giving the move command.

Re: No Nukes
You can't do that from the map editor but need to save the map unpacked, then navigate to the folder and edit the yaml rules yourself. You can look at the existing maps shipped with OpenRA for examples on how to disable buildings.

Yes, worms in our mod take a longer time to scare away/kill, but it is possible.

If you want to be sure you should look at the rules.ini file from the original game for values the original used.

You'll want to edit the values of SeedsResources on the ore mine actors which are usually in misc.yaml.

They are waypoints used in the map script. You'll see the script using AtreidesEntry2.Location etc.

Re: How to change map size? Under Linux.
Yes, you'll also have to provide the path.
As to the bounds: You can simply change those values in the map.yaml file, there should be no issue in doing that.

Re: How to change map size? Under Linux.
Yes, that is possible using the utility (https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/wiki/Utility).
If you use the AppImage on Linux you can do something like "./Dune-2000.AppImage --utility --resize-map MAPFILE WIDTH HEIGHT".

Re: Additional AI Slots?
The amount of slots is determined by the amount of spawnpoints set in the map. By setting more spawnpoints you will get more slots.

Re: Mouse cursor slowdown when running OBS at same time
None of our streamers seems to have this issue. You can try if the "Use Hardware Cursors" setting helps here.
