If hotkeys did apply regardless of tab, i think it limits what can be used as meaningful keys. I can say though I've missed the production tab in the heat of the battle (with tab presses) and lost a second of time

I downloaded the map to see if I could help, and... the map is acting normal for me. I looked at the map rules and launched a couple games on it, worked just fine. Still happens for you?

This is really cool. Haven't got to play it with other people yet, but cruisers and missile subs seemed a bit pointless, maybe modify their weapons?

I see the problem :) yaml files depend using tabs for indentation and not spaces - if you use spaces, it yells at you - as well you need to have certain nodes tabbed beneath their parents I recommend opening an existing 6 player map (such as "east vs west 3") and copying out the Players: section fro...

If you're on Win7, look at program files\openra\mods\*\maps. Inside of that folder do you see a 'compatibility files' button on the explorer toolbar? Click it; hope this helps

I believe the extra prod building = faster speed was taken out to reduce tank spam

CNC right now does tank squish, with I think a 25% chance to squish an infantry unit if you run over it. RA might be interesting with something like that implemented

The editor won't let you in unless you've ran the main game once (downloaded or installed the *.mix content for the games)

To scroll around in the editor use the middle mouse button. You can also use shift-click on tiles to do a flood-fill
