finished vehicle that is still hidden under the warf ... since you arent supposed to "select" it when its not outside ... or am i wrong ? Units have a higher selection priority then buildings so if you were to drag a selection block over a warfactory with a unit inside it would select the unit rath...

Hey murto haven't managed to catch your streams yet but when I go onto your twitch I cannot find any previous broadcasts? Yeah, im sorry they aren't available. The option to archive older broadcasts isnt enabled by default, however i made the assumption that it is. It's been enabled but i wont be s...

There should be a utility.exe in the openra installation directory that can do this sort of thing. There are instructions on how to use it here

When was the last time people complained about shock blobs? I haven't seen or heard any complaints about them for a pretty long time now.lucassss wrote: ↑ This may actually solve some of the complaints about shock blobs

Also think about whether there should be earlier access to tech OR if it should be easier to apply pressure to players early game. At the moment there is almost no early push (prior to around 5 minutes) that can take out a semi-skilled player with a few defensive structures and units. Perhaps making...

Personally, i think spamming MCVs works not because tech isn't good enough but because the power gap between structures/defences and units is too large. Units have a really difficult time bringing down defences and structures and as a result it is more worthwhile to spend your income on inexpensive ...

A great concern of mine is that none of the players I talk to, even those at the top-level, agree on what needs to be fixed and how. Some even have entirely different visions of what direction the development of OpenRA should take. Because balance is a completely subjective case. One could say the ...

Nothing at the moment. Personally i think the spy is good where it is. A few well timed spies can power down the enemy long enough to launch your own nuke, or to destroy theirs. Adding a little feature like this wouldn't be OP or really skew the game much. But i do think it would be redundant since ...

This is always going to be the case unless factions are more or less symmetrical. Its more worthwhile to try and create a map pool which results in balanced games rather than try and generally balance factions. Its also much easier to buff/nerf units for a certain map pool than to try and make them ...
